FORMER TEACHERS Where are they now?

In total over 20 teachers have worked at WSJ over its 13-year history. They have come from a variety of countries including England, the United States, New Zealand, Hungary and of course Poland. Most teachers committed themselves to a two-year contract but stayed on longer usually for 3-5 years. Where are they now? What are they doing?

RECENT DEPARTURES

Melanie Banville. Unfortunatley Mel had to leave the school due to ill health in September 2005 and return to England. We greatly miss her and wish her all the best in her recovery.

Dan Willis. After teaching in Wroclaw for 2,5 years, Dan returned to London to pursue a career in the film industry. We are grateful for all he did in his time with us. He has also just gotten engaged to his girlfriend, Agnieszka.

Jeff Crull. Jeff is still very much a friend of the school, always keeps in touch, and we are sure he will continue to return to Poland on a regular basis - especially for our Summer youth camps.

Stacey Redpath
. After fruitful time of teaching at WSJ and building relationships with students Stacey returned to England. She is currently studying at Redcliffe Bible College in Gloucester, England preparing for the next stage of her mission involvement, possibly church-planting in France. We are regularly in touch with her.

Clive Lambden is married to Soomy from South Korea and he and his wife are now living in England. He still keeps in touch.

Ruan Crew - after returning to the UK he taught English at Abbey School in London for a year. It was there that he met his Dutch wife - Lisa. After getting married they both studied at All Nations College.
Having graduated, they decided to go into full time ministry and they joined Operation Mobilisation in Holland recruiting, equipping and sending short term mission teams to Eastern Asia. In recent years they have been faithfully coming to help us at our Youth Camps in Opolnica. They currently live in Holland and have three lovely children: Emily, Hannah and Tim.
Continually seeking to serve God, Ruan is now going through the application process for the Anglican ministry through the Anglican Church in the Hague.

Christie Murphy. Still lives in Wroclaw and is currently involved in developing an English programme for students at the Biblical Theological Seminary in Wroclaw. She is also a TESOL Teacher Trainer. Although she has stopped working at WSJ, the school is priviliged to count her as one of its advisors with a wealth of experience.

Helen Adams. After teaching at WSJ she got married to Przemek Chmielowiec in August 2003. They both live and work in Czestochowa.

Katie Oleszkiewicz left Wroclaw in August 2003 after working on a summer language camp together with her fiance Nathan Steinman. She now lives in Chicago.
